Winter の 香港 - Day 4

- Ngong Ping 360
- Happy Hour at Sevva, Central
- Dinner at 黃枝記, Central
- Stroll around Lan Kwai Fong

It was very misty at Ngong Ping today. Thus, very less photos were taken. Can’t even see the big Buddha from near T.T and again, we were too lazy to climb up to the Big Buddha statue ==

Cable car collection around the world ~

I remember this one! From Brazil ~

Brunch at vegetarian food stall. Surprisingly, their fried Mihun taste good! So simple but yet so tasty ~.~

MMMmm, finally can eat their 红豆钵仔糕 again! :9

Not to be missed, 山水豆腐花 ~

Happy hour at Sevva. Chris planned to have dinner here but apparently, their table for dinner was fully booked for the night. I thought, let’s go to another restaurant but Chris insisted to have a drink here instead. I never know the reason why Chris insisted to go in till I stepped out to the balcony. Ahhhh, stunning night view in front of my eyes! Perfect for a break after a long day ~ The place was mostly filled by OL & OM, who were obviously, Happy Hour-ing after work. Life’s good!

Spectacular night city view!

Pink Christmas tree along the balcony

My so-called Cranberry Juice – I suspect it’s Ribena -_-..overpriced Ribena to be exact but well, the night view is priceless. I didn’t go for cocktail or alcoholic drinks because I was feeling a bit bloated that night.

Felt less bloated after chomping on snacks ~

Late dinner at 黄枝记, Central

招牌蝦籽撈麵… can't find it here in M’sia

Fish air bladder, mushroom & dry oyster congee

Preserved egg and pickled ginger – the preserved egg is very moist & juicy compare to average preserved egg.

Stroll one round at Lan Kwai Fong.

Discovered a quiet place to peacefully enjoy the night harbour view, just 2 steps away from our hotel.

Chill out for a while before head back to hotel.

Winter の 香港 - Day 3

Discovery Bay – As seen in TVB drama 富贵门 (Born Rich).

Egg tart from 泰昌餅家

La Maison Du Chocolat, all the way from Paris. A high-end chocolate shop! Just like Godiva..

Walking to ferry terminal

Hot Chocolate – Very chocolate-y with strong aroma & thick texture! Highly recommended for hot chocolate lovers!

It was a windy day ~~

In ferry to Discovery Bay!

The beach…. See no touch.. Too cold to swim. Can’t even walk on the beachside because I’m wearing boot TT

Hijacking the car!

Ahhh, love this shot. *Thanks to Chris ^^* A perfect match ~ Apparently, this cute little boy’s knit cap accidentally fallen on the floor when his mummy swing him around. So I pick it up and ran over to return to them. His mum gave me a sweet thank you but I regretted not asking the blue-eye baby boy to give me a thank you kiss instead. Ish!

司華力腸 from 7-Eleven! Our all-time favorite! But only selected 7-Eleven is selling this sausage. Special for its crispy-skin texture. Every bite is full of springy-ness.

Time to enjoy my Éclair Caramel from La Maison Du Chocolat. Lovesssss!

Enjoyed having a relax moment sitting on the bench watching children playing and running about, mums strolling around, pigeons looking for foods… Bliss ~

Volunteered to carry the super-damn-heavy camera backpack for a while (not more than 15min, shoulder pain already)… how kind :P

Dinner at Zaks Restaurant at D Deck, with a nice beach view & laidback settings.
New preferred beer – Hoegaarden. Cold beer during cold weather? Bad idea… I was chilling inside out… I just had a few sips.

I suppose we are the first customer for that evening

Cheese baked Nachos with generous toppings – serves in a big portion! Would be nice to eat among 3-4 person.

Spaghetti Vongole

Back to the city! A foggy night ..

A windy night,,,, Freezing like crazy…
Joey: Grrrr, so cold…. Faster
Chris: One, two, three.. (snapping photo)
Joey: *forcing out a smile*
Done. Run into IFC Mall.

Christmas settings at IFC Mall

Happily spooning out the very frozen Tofu ice cream..Taste just like soya bean ice cream…

At MTR subway

Something you can do while waiting for train

Winter の 香港 - Day 2

Shopping at Langham Place & Argyle Centre, Mongkok.

Love Mi’s Bracelet.. Would like to get Love Mi’s watch instead but the one that I have an eye on was completely out of stock! Can make an order though, but have to wait for 3 months!

Love Mi Box Set Collection… I’m reading her book ‘值得’ right now… In this book, she shared her story during her “mentally-exhausted” period; how she overcome her fear/sick, turned into a new leaf and become a better person – A NEW MI! I must admit that she is rather good in writing articles. Her articles are witty, humorous and sometimes inspiring & meaningful. Mi, I’m falling for you! Besides, all income of this book will be donated to some charity organization. Now, how kind was that!

Walking to Fortress Hill MTR Station… with a messy hair -_-

炮台山 was the area that we were staying for 1 week..

I’m too hungry to walk any further, so we had lunch (Yes, lunch, because we slept until late morning) at 大家樂 nearby our hotel. Err well, usually I’ll be very impatient & grumpy when I’m hungry!

大家樂 (Café De Coral)is a popular fast food chain in HK serving local delicacies. Just like 7-Eleven, you can nearly find 大家樂 at every area. Apart from the fact that it’s so convenient, they foods are up to quality as well. Waiting for someone to franchise it to M’sia.

五宝饭 (5 Combo Rice) – I don’t usually eat pork but I’m trying to be adventurous this time round because I’ve spotted this last year but got no courage to try then.
Warning: Super heavy!
Chris was amazed that I manage to empty the plate alone.

Warm Papaya Milk – Ahhhh, so warming and nourishing for girls, especially during cold weather.

Me chamwhoring at inside Langham Place.

Up-to-the-sky escalator… kinda scary! So, don’t look back!

Argyle Centre - recommended by some blogger! Basically, it’s a shopping paradise for girls! Similar to our Sg.Wang but way more congested and crowded! For a serious shopping trip, you actually need to have enough time to slowly explore all their shops & prices where your eyes will go @@! Too many to see & choose.. . one of the setback was, they got no fitting room.

Grabbed some drinks at Happy Lemon before my shopping journey starts.

Love all drinks with extra bubbles... Ok, I might look a bit scary here though... =.=

My catches - 2 pairs of boot and a lacey short skirt. ^$$^ (Money fly away) Have to leave early because Chris was so bored & breathless in there == I swear I will go back again next round!

Joey says… be adventurous! Haha! This is one of my daring attempt – to eat 臭豆腐 (Smelly Beancurd)!

Been struggling for a while for whether to try it out or not. The curious nerves inside me shout: Try it for once at least, I dare you! Oh well, once you put it in your mouth, it tasted just like some normal fried beancurd but with a cheesier texture. Or maybe this is not the extreme one?? Lucky me, my stomache didn’t complain the next morning. Hoho :P
P/s: Chris don't even dare to take a bite!
